TermCoach Removal Guide

Do you know what TermCoach is?

TermCoach is just one of the many adware applications that are floating around the Internet, hoping to get into computers of unsuspecting users. This application might have slithered into your system together with other freeware programs, but we cannot say that it is a malicious infection. After all, users install this adware app themselves. Naturally, you can remove TermCoach via Control Panel, and all of your worries might be over. Except that, not quite. You cannot forget the other programs that might have been installed on your system with this adware, and you most definitely have to take care of them as well.

One thing is certain: You definitely did not download TermCoach from the official website. The page is located at termcoachapp.com, but it does not provide you with a download button, so there is no way you could get this program directly from the official page. How does TermCoach enter your computer then? As mentioned above, TermCoach usually gets distributed in software packages with other potentially unwanted programs. For example, our research lab team says that it usually comes with the Amonetize installers. Thus, if you happen to have this application on-board, it is very likely that you will also have VuuPC, PriceLess, PicColor, and other similar programs installed on your PC.

None of the programs mentioned (TermCoach included) are direct computer security threats. However, we do not recommend keeping them on your system. The problem is that most of the adware programs support and promote third-party content. If you were to take a look at the Q & A section of TermCoach’s website, you would find the following statement:

Term Coach is free so in order to pay for servers and other expense we show ads while you browse the Internet. All of these ads are labeled with a link to uninstall instructions and a logo so you can easily recognize them.

Although TermCoach does label the ads so you would know they belong to this application, it does not mean that it can guarantee their safety. Such adware applications often outsource the ad content from third-party advertising servers, and they do not bother to check whether the links promoted in the ads are reliable and safe. As a result, whenever you get exposed to the TermCoach ads, and you decide to click them, you do it at your own risk. Even if you were to get infected with some malicious application, you would not be able to blame TermCoach for it because the program is simply not responsible for the third-party content.

Now, you definitely would not want that to happen. Fortunately, any unwanted consequences can be easily avoided if you remove TermCoach right now. Go to your Control Panel and uninstall the program without any further ado.

To be absolutely sure that your computer is safeguarded against similar issues, scan your system with the SpyHunter free scanner to determine what other programs should be deleted from your PC. If you think that manual removal is too much for you, you should rely on an automated software removal tool.
