This does not sound dangerous at all, but, believe us, this might be the beginning of security-related problems since you do not know where you will land. In the worst-case scenario, you might even be taken to a page containing malicious applications or the one that tries to steal personal information from visitors. How to delete

Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Tap Alt+T and access Internet Options.
  3. Click Advanced.
  4. Click the Reset button.
  5. Check the box next to Delete personal settings.
  6. Click Reset.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Launch Mozilla Firefox.
  2. Press Alt+H and click Troubleshooting information.
  3. Click Refresh Firefox.
  4. Click the Refresh Firefox button once again.

Google Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome and press Alt+F.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Go down and click Advanced.
  4. Click Reset.
  5. Click the Reset button in the confirmation window.

In non-techie terms: is not a reliable search provider you should use for your web searches, so if you ever find it set on the browser you use, you should go to remove it as soon as possible.
