Remove Ask Search tools and unwanted add-ons

Remove from Internet Explorer:

  1. Open the browser, simultaneously tap Alt+T and select Manage Add-ons.
  2. Select Toolbar and Extensions and Disable the undesirable add-ons.
  3. In the menu on the left click Search Providers.
  4. Remove the undesirable search provider. Click Close.
  5. Simultaneously tap Alt+T and select Internet Options.
  6. Click the General tab and find the Home Page.
  7. Change/delete the URL and click OK.

Remove from Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Open the browser and click the search provider icon on the Firefox search box.
  2. Click Manage Search Engines and Remove the undesirable search provider. Click OK.
  3. Simultaneously tap Alt+T and select Options.
  4. Click the General tab and find the Home Page.
  5. Change/delete the URL and click OK.
  6. Finally, simultaneously tap Ctrl+Shift+A (Add-ons Manager).
  7. Click Extensions and Remove the undesirable add-ons. Click OK.

Remove from Google Chrome:

  1. Open the browser, simultaneously tap Alt+F and select Settings.
  2. Under On Startup mark Open a specific page or set of pages and click Set pages.
  3. Overwrite/delete the undesirable URL and click OK.
  4. Under Appearance mark Show Home button and click Change.
  5. Overwrite/delete the undesirable URL and click OK.
  6. Under Search click Manage search engines and select a new default search provider.
  7. Click X on the URL of the search provider you wish to delete and click Done.
  8. Simultaneously tap Alt+F one more time, select Settings, and click Extensions.
  9. Click the trash icon next to PremierDownloadManager and select Remove.
