Findr Removal Guide

Do you know what Findr is?

Findr is a browser extension from the Conduit family. There may be several different versions of this toolbar, because most of the time Conduit Ltd. “borrows” the names of legitimate applications and makes their own version of browser add-ons. Findr Toolbar is not a malicious computer infection, but it may be related to potentially unwanted applications. Thus, users are often encouraged to remove Findr from their computers immediately.

The toolbar that is created by Conduit Ltd. can be downloaded at findr.ourtoolbar.com. It is also directly associated with such browser plugins as Iminent Community Toolbar, VisualBee Toolbar, Appbario Toolbar and others. If you install Findr on your browser (and it is compatible with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer), you will be provided with additional search bar, and shortcuts to a number of popular websites.

Some users claim that Findr gets installed onto your browsers without their permission, consequently altering their home page and default search engine, but that is not the case. It is true that most of the time such browser extensions as Findr come bundled with freeware applications, but they do not trick you into installing them. Users agree to install various add-ons themselves, which means that if you do not want such extension as Findr installed, you need to be attentive during the installation process.

The truth is that you can choose whether you want your home page changed or not. Also, Findr can come with TuneUp Utilities 2013 which is a computer optimization application, but you are not recommended to install it, because this program cannot live to its promises. The same can actually be applied to Findr as well. It does not cause serious trouble to your computer, but it may display commercial ads from third parties.

In case a malicious third party exploits Findr to display ads with links to corrupted websites, there is a high chance that you could get infected with malware. Thus, follow the instructions below to remove Findr from your PC right now.
