How to remove Yandex from the browsers

Internet Explorer

  1. Press Alt+T and click Internet Options.
  2. Change the home page and click OK.
  3. Press Alt+T and click Manage Add-ons.
  4. In the section Toolbars and Extensions, remove unwanted browser add-ons.
  5. In the sections Search Providers, set a search engine and remove Yandex.

Google Chrome

  1. Press Alt+F.
  2. Point to Tools and click Extensions.
  3. Remove unwanted browser add-ons.
  4. Click Settings.
  5. Under On startup, select the third option and click Set Pages.
  6. Under Search, select Manage search engines and set a new search provider.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Press Alt+T and click Options.
  2. On the General tab, change the home page and press OK.
  3. Press Ctrl+Shift+A.
  4. Click Extensions and remove the browser add-ons related to Yandex.
  5. Close the tab.
  6. Click the search engine icon next to the search box of the browser and select a new search engine.
