Do you know what DivX Toolbar is?
DivX Toolbar is a browser plug-in, which is promoted by a free video converter Divx. The toolbar is bundled with the software, and if you do not want to install the additional program, you should closely read the information in the license agreement. This recommendation applies to every installation session as there always is a risk that you will be provided with an insecure computer application.
The information on the installation of DivX Toolbar is presented after the user has to choose what components of the software have to be installed. If you do not uncheck two tick boxes, the so-called DivX Browser Bar and Search Protect by Conduit are installed.

All the applications that are installed have their uninstall packages, which means that you can find them in Control Panel. We recommend that you remove DivX Toolbar alongside other unwanted applications and provide the PC with the ultimate protection.
The removal is recommended because of the changed that are made on the browsers. DivX Toolbar is compatible with Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. You will find that the toolbar installs two components on Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
The changes that are made on your browsing tools deal with the home page and search provider. The home page is changed to search.conduit.com, even though you are provided with Bing search results. You may be monitored by the toolbar, so if you do not want the information about your browsing habits to be monitored by some third-party company, remove DivX Toolbar right now.
We recommend that you implement SpyHunter as this software is all that you need. It will remove DivX Toolbar and safeguard the system against computer threats. By implementing our recommended spyware prevention program, you invest in the future as there will be no need to consult a computer specialist and pay him or her for the consultation – the security of the system will be maintained by SpyHunter.
