The developer of Search4Musix states that it has never been that easy to find favorite songs, albums, and artists. The application allows searching for music straight from the ordinary web browser! This does sound convenient, we have to admit, but you should weigh all its pros and cons before you click the Download button and install this piece of software on your computer. The majority of users say that its biggest drawback is that it changes the default search provider, making the user’s preferred search tool gone. If you do not want to find your browser’s settings altered, you should not install Search4Musix by any means. Second, we cannot confirm that it is a completely trustworthy application because it can be spread in software bundles. It is definitely not a feature of a fully reliable program – users have a freedom to decide upon when to install and remove trustworthy software themselves. Search4Musix also collects information about users, as research has shown. Do not worry, it will not violate your privacy – it promises not to collect any personally identifiable information (e.g. names, addresses, telephone numbers, and emails), but as its Privacy Policy document informs users, it “may automatically receive and record certain non-personally identifiable information on its server logs.” Almost all potentially unwanted applications collect the same details, for example, IP address, browser type and version, and Internet Service Provider (ISP). Additionally, they might collect information about websites users visit. Last but not least, Search4Musix might record all search queries you enter.
