"Verification account" email Removal Guide

The "Verification account" phishing email may be a Hackers key to your Paypal

The recent "Verification account" email is a typical phishing email message that asks you to update your Paypal account information for verification. We have experienced several other fake Paypal messages that were sent from hackers in an attempt to obtain computer users personal Paypal account credentials. With your Paypal information in the wrong hands it can potentially be devastating to you and not to mention cause identity theft.

If you ever encounter the "Verification account" email message with a Paypal logo you must delete it immediately to reduce the risk of clicking on a malicious link embedded within this phishing email. "Verification account" email was found to contain a link to http://www.111212c.com/PayPal (do not visit!) which is a page set up where you enter your Paypal information where a hacker is able to steal it. Email messages like this should be reported to Paypal's fraud department email at spoof@paypal.com. This is essential so that the experts may track down the hackers who send fake messages such as the "Verification account" email.

The "Verification account" email message that looks like a Paypal message reads like the following and resembles the image below.

From: paypal@service.com
Subject: Verification account
Dear Sir/Madam,
We are writing you this email in regards to your account with
PayPal.
In accordance with our terms and conditions, article 3.2., we would like
to kindly ask you to confirm your identity by doing the following:

1. Click the link below and update your account informations by filling the forms.

https://www.PayPal.com/app/identify.pl

2. Send us copies of following documents:

- personal identification document (identity card or driving license or
international passport)
- a proof of the address submitted with our system (bank account
statement or utility bill)
You can send those scanned to our email address
service@PayPal.com or faxed to +44 709 121 2001.
