Remove from Windows
Windows XP:
- Move to the left of the Task Bar and click Start.
- Open Control Panel and double-click Add or Remove Programs.
- Find the undesirable program and Remove it.
Windows Vista & Windows 7:
- Open the Start menu and click Control Panel.
- Go to Uninstall a program.
- Right-click the program you want deleted and select Uninstall.
Windows 8:
- Tap the Windows key to access the Metro UI start screen.
- Right-click the background, select All apps, open Control Panel and click Uninstall a program.
- Right-click the program you want to remove and select Uninstall.
Delete from the web browsers
Delete from Google Chrome:
- Open the browser and simultaneously tap Alt+F.
- Select Settings, move to On Startup and mark Open a specific page or set of pages.
- Click Set pages and change/remove the provided URL. Click OK.
- Now navigate to Search and click Manage search engines.
- Remove the unwanted search provider (click X) and then click OK.
Delete from Mozilla Firefox:
- Open the browser and simultaneously tap Alt+T .
- Select Option and click the General tab on the left.
- Overwrite/remove the Home Page and click OK.
- Click the search provider icon on the search box.
- Select Manage Search Engines and Remove the undesirable search engine. Click OK.
Delete from Internet Explorer:
- Open the browser and simultaneously tap Alt+T.
- Click Manage Add-ons and then Search Providers.
- Find the undesirable search provider, Remove it and click Close.
- Tap Alt+T once more and select Internet Options.
- Click the General tab (on the left), change the Home Page and click OK.
