Spyware Guard 2008 may be hard to remove manually in some cases but nonetheless, it should be removed somehow. Do not ever purchase or install SpywareGuard 2008 under any circumstances.

    Thanks for these instructions I am hoping they will work for me! However I have a newer version of the above called Spyware Guard 2009. Other than that it looks the same.

    Will the instructions above work for Spyware Guard 2009 as well? I wondered if the detailed DLLs and registry keys would be the same?

    Also, excuse my ignorance, but what's the best way to backup the pc before I start? I haven't done this before!
