This browser extension is compatible with Chrome and Firefox. It also comes from a well-known extension family called the Mindspark Toolbar group. All the programs from this group look like they can provide users with some useful functions. Just like MyChristianPortal, these programs sound like they can enhance your web browsing experience, but the truth is that the other aspects of this program are way to obnoxious to even consider it a reliable tool.

The description for this program says that with MyChristianPortal you can “find all the Christian resources you need – Bible Verses, Holiday recipes, Christian music, and more.” It also says that you can “find all the necessary resources you need from one place for FREE.” And if that’s really something you’ve been looking for; this offer might seem tempting.
However, what if you have no idea what MyChristianPortal is? What if you never wanted to this something like that on your browser? How come it’s still there, and why do we say that you installed it yourself? Well, that’s actually the case.
The thing with potentially unwanted programs like MyChristianPortal is that they have official and unofficial distribution sources.
