IPNinja Removal Guide

Do you know what IPNinja is?

IPNinja is a paid application that offers you a virtual private network (VPN) service to hide your geographical location or access region-restricted websites. However, this program does not seem to work as it should so you might want to remove it. In this short description, we will discuss why this program does not work, how it may end up on your PC, and so on. Our malware analysts have classified it as a potentially unwanted program because it is not particularly malicious but is rather useless, and the consequences of having it on your PC are unknown. It may be a scam program or still be in development which would explain the reason it does not work.

If you install this application on your PC, it will start with the operating system when you run on your PC and idle in the background. The installation adds a registry key named “exitnode” with value data “C:\Users\{User Name}\AppData\Local\IPNinja\ExitNode\exitnode.vbs” at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. This registry key is set to open IPNinja on system startup up. Its website claims that it is a virtual private network (VPN.) A VPN is useful when you want to access region-restricted websites or hide your digital footprint. However, this program is next to useless because it does not do anything. It will not change your PC address or anything. There is no indication of this software running because it does not have a GUI — graphical user interface. Therefore, you can close it only by killing its process from Task Manager.IPNinja Removal GuideIPNinja screenshot
