Antivirus 2008 XP or Antivirus2008XP, is a fake anti-spyware program known to be a clone of other rogues in the family of XPAntivirus, Antivirus 2009 and Antivirus XP 2008. Antivirus 2008 XP was discovered by us to be installed onto computers through a Trojan infection such as Zlob which can be done without your permission.
Once Antivirus 2008 XP is installed it starts to annoy the crap out of you with popups or system alert messages that try to scare you into thinking you have other spyware infections.
In non-techie terms: If you don't remove Antivirus 2008 XP you will keep getting popup messages. You will need to remove all of the Antivirus 2008 XP files to get rid of these popups unless you like that type of thing. Do not purchase Antivirus 2008 XP no matter how convincing it may look. It does not remove spyware or parasites from your computer.
