Do you know what Foxwebber is?
Foxwebber is an adware application from the JustPlugIt family. Upon installation, it sets itself up as a web browser extension. Immediately after, Foxwebber starts tracking your web activity, waiting for its activation conditions to be met. Once activated, this adware application will start showing commercial adverts in your web browser window. Our recommendation is to remove Foxwebber and similar applications upon discovery.
Foxwebber is compatible with Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome web browsers. As a browser extension, it will track your activity while browsing the Internet. If you click something on a website, it will remember this action, making a note that you’re interested in that kind of thing. When activated, it will show you ads for attractive wares that are being sold on partnered third-party websites. If you click any of them, the developers of Foxwebber will get paid for increasing web traffic to that website. This is called pay-per-click. PPC is a very popular way for advertisers to earn money. The problem we’re having with this service is that you can never be sure about the safety of these sites. For all you know, they could contain dangerous malware. That's without even taking into account, that the developers essentially get money with your assisstance, but don't share the profits with you. Nobody likes being taken advantage of. In your place, we would remove Foxwebber as soon as possible. Also, getting an anti-malware tool is a really good idea. It will scan and remove any threats in the future.Foxwebber screenshot

Like all adware made using the JustPlugIt engine, Foxwebber is found in bundles of free software, associated with the InstallRex installer. It has to be noted, that the adware has been linked with Amonetize and Vittalia installers too. Whatever the name may be, all of these installers work in a similar manner. They bundle various applications with a free program, hoping you won’t pay attention during the installation. If you just click through to the Finish button, you will find several undesired programs on your computer after the installation is done. Seeing as Foxwebber is known to be distributed in bundles with malware, some of those programs you get might even be dangerous. Due to the threat presented by this distribution method and the mode of operation when on your computer, it’s recommended to remove Foxwebber.
To delete Foxwebber, you can get a professional anti-malware program. It will scan your computer for any threats. It could even find some you didn’t know you had. Having finished scanning, it will remove anything dangerous. If, however, you prefer to terminate Foxwebber by yourself, we will provide instructions below.
