This ransomware can actually target hundreds of file extensions, including .zip, .rar .7z .tar, .gzip, .gz, .tgz, .arj, .jpg, .jpeg, .psd, .cdr, .dwg, .max, .bmp, .gif, .png, .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, .rtf, .pdf, .djvu, .htm, .html, .efd, .txt, .mdb, .cer, .p12, .pfx, .kwm, .pwm, .md, .mdf, .iso, .tib, .nrg, .gho, .ghost, .ghs, .bak, .bkp, .bkf, .1cd, .2cd, .1cd2, .dbf, .dd, .ert, .cf, .cfu, .erf, .epf, .dt, .cdx, .pfl, .lst, .gdb, .gbk, .fdb, .fbk, .ldf, .sql, .odt, .rn, .ifo, .lnk, .cbu, .mov, .m2v, and .dbx. You can identify the encrypted files easily because all of them have a new extension that looks like ".wog@onionmail.info-id" where the "id" is a random string that is different for each file.
The ransom note is named "Dont_Worry.txt" and it is placed in all the folders where files have been infected. This note is in Russian, hence the assumption that it is targeting Russian users mostly. You are instructed to send an email to "wog@onionmail.info" with your unlock code you can find in this note. In a reply, you should get further instructions with regard to the payment process. However, you are warned that you may also receive a message claiming that this email address does not exist, in which case you are "unlucky."
