Antivirus System PRO Removal Guide

Do you know what Antivirus System PRO is?

Antivirus System PRO is a fake anti-spyware program. Antivirus System PRO is known to be basically a replica of Antivir System Pro, which is also a rogue anti-spyware application. Antivirus System PRO can be downloaded and installed automatically from a Trojan horse infection such as Zlob. Once this happens, it is possible that your system may decrease in performance.

Antivirus System PRO may display alert messages or popups that attempt to get computer users to purchase a full version of Antivirus System PRO. Do not fall for this trick. Antivirus System PRO is a scam because it is not able to detect or remove any type of spyware or computer infection.

In non-techie terms:
Antivirus System PRO is a waste of time and money. If you ever find that Antivirus System PRO is installed on your computer then you should take the necessary steps to remove it before your system is damaged. Do not under any circumstances purchase Antivirus System PRO.

Aliases: Antivirus System PRO, AntivirusSystem PRO, Antivirus SystemPRO, AntivirusSystemPRO.

I SWEAR THIS WORKS!! THANK U SO MUCH I WAS SO FRUSTRATED WITH THE STUPID POP UPS BUT IT WORKED!! YAYYYYY!!! THIS INFORMATION WAS AWESOME! :) :) :)

Very well put together and good advice. None of this worked for me though. It seems to be loaded as another name on my computer. It's not as easy as finding something named "Antivirus System Pro" and deleting. I was able to delete the sysguard.exe so it's not popping up all the time.

    Thank you soooooooooooooooooooo much!

I work at an IT-department and all other pages about this program was leading nowhere!!

This one did the trick and killed iehelper.dll in the system32 folder.
( i tried deleting it myself but it said that other programs were dependent on it and closing down all the processes in task manager did not help!)

    ..again, thank you so much!

    Best Regards

Same as for Valerie, no directory found.
I probably had a mutation of it ;-) I only had the pop-up coming, I never installed the program itself.

    * To remove it I first stop the sysguard.exe process to suppress the pop-up.
    * I made a search and delete of "sysguard*.*" Two files found, the .exe in c:\windows and a .pf file in some sub of c:\windows.
    * For the dll my anti-spyware was smart enough to identify and quarantaine the "iehelper.dll". I just deleted from the quarantaine.
    * Then in the registery I made a search and delete of "spyguard" and got rid of 3 registery. The Icon then disapeared of the icon tray.

Restarted to make sure and it worked !

Thanks a lot without your help I would never had know where to start and what to look for.
