I didn't tune my PC... I upgraded my wireless card and rebuilt the wiring to the house to reduce interference and ensure the direct line is tapped directly to the modem.

We have a wireless N router. My father is connected via Ethernet cable. I am wireless, and I get not only a full signal from the opposite side of the house, and I boosted the internet speed from 8Mbps to 30Mbps.

Check your hardware at the modem before tuning your PC. Machine before software. ALWAYS!

most of the parameters were already in my registry I just modified them to the numbers you used except the window size, and everything is fine thanks

Tried your method and it crashed my system ,vista business 6000,had to repair my HD ,Thanks anyway.
